French Stewart, 70, former resident of Crawfordsille, died at his home in Clinton Sunday at 1:45 a.m. Mr. Stewart was a member of the True Light Spiritualist Church of Indianapolis. Born Feb 12, 1883 in Fontanet he was the son of Robert and Addie House Stewart. He married Mae Bishop in Paris, Ill on Jan 14, 1914. Surviving are the wife, Rev. Mae Stewart of Clinton and 3 children. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m Wednesday at the Proffitt & Sons Funeral Home in charge of Rev. Affie Reep of Indianapolis. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.
